CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Are you involved in innovations that could have an impact on the future of pediatrics?
Do you find that regular medical conferences are too restrictive to report your experience?
Shaping the future of pediatrics is the place for you!
Submit your work with an abstract.

Abstracts can be related to one of the main themes of the conference, but should not be necessarily limited to them.
We accept any kind of formats: regular communications, unstructured reports and videos.
It could be about technology, products, protocols, initiatives, processes, delivery models – or something else – that has led or might lead to innovations for children and their future.

All abstracts will be available electronically. Those most interesting will be selected for an oral presentation. The best abstracts will also receive an award.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

Each submission will be reviewed for innovation and originality.

All abstracts will be available electronically.

 

Best submitted abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation session during the conference. This session will be held on October 3rd with rapid presentations.

 

ACCEPTANCE

The Scientific Committee will review the abstract and you will receive an information whether the abstract has been accepted within 10 days from submission date.

 

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTION

Choose the type of submission you would like to present:

 

Regular communication

  1. The submission title must be entered in CAPITAL LETTERS;
  2. All other fields must be entered;
  3. All authors’ names and first author’s name must be entered as follows: INITIAL. SURNAME (e.g. J. Smith);
  4. Maximum number of characters 3000 (including spaces);
  5. Please note that the abstract needs to be structured and to include the following sections:
    a) Brief Introduction
    b) Materials & Methods
    c) Results
    d) Conclusions
  6. 1 image or 1 table allowed

Unstructured reports

  1. The submission title must be entered in CAPITAL LETTERS;
  2. Enter your video description;
  3. Upload a file if needed – (maximum of 50MB/5 minutes presentation) – accepted formats: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx, .jpg, .png, .gif, .jpeg, .avi, .mp4;

Videos

  1. The submission title must be entered in CAPITAL LETTERS;
  2. Enter the presentation description;
  3. Upload your video in LOW QUALITY* (maximum of 50MB/5 minutes) – accepted formats: .avi and .mp4;

*after the acceptance a HIGH QUALITY video will be required.
