The Scientific Committee invites clinicians and scientists who are interested in sharing their work with the participants of the meeting to submit their work in abstract form.

Changes in abstracts cannot be made after submission.

Please verify that each field in the abstract form has been completed and follow the instructions given below.

The Scientific Committee will review the abstract and you will receive an information whether the abstract has been accepted by September 10, 2019.

Accepted abstracts will be selected for ORAL or POSTER presentation.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Before you begin, please prepare the following information:

  1. Presenting author’s and Co-authors’ details
  • Initial of the first and family name(s) in capital letters (e.g. J.SMITH)
  • Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, state (if relevant), country, email address (e.g. J. SMITH1, P. JONES2 )
  • 1. Saint Paul Hospital, London, United Kingdom, 2. Oxford University, Oxford, United Kingdom
  1. Abstract title – limited to 180 characters (including spaces) in CAPITAL LETTERS
  2. Abstract text – limited to 4500 characters (including spaces), including acknowledgements. We recommend using word-processing software (for example, Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words.
  3. Abstracts should clearly state:
  • Introduction
  • Material and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
  1. Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word appears the first time.
  2. Use generic names of drugs. Express numbers as numerals.
  3. Abstract Topics – abstracts must be allocated to a specific category for the Scientific Programme. You will need to select the category most suited to your abstract.
  4. Tables Graphs and Images – A maximum of 1 table, graph or image can be uploaded.
  5. Submitted abstracts cannot be modified or corrected after the submission. There is no option to save the abstract as draft and to submit it at a later stage. If you do not submit your abstract, the information will be deleted.

Important notes: Authors should quote figures and tables in the text and should number them in the order in which they appear in the text. Each figure and table should be accompanied by a short description- Regarding references, please list the references in order of citation in the text, in square brackets. For each entry, please clearly indicate the following data: names of all the authors, title of the article/book, publication year. Moreover, for journal articles, indicate journal title, volume, issue, first and last page of the article; for websites, indicate the last access; for books, indicate the book publisher and its head office. If you want to quote a chapter within a book, please add information on the chapter (title and authors).

CONFLICT OF INTEREST STATEMENT

Please provide a conflict of interest statement. In case of human experimentation, please indicate which ethical standards were followed and write an informed consent statement; in experiments on animals, please indicate an animal rights statement.
