ORLIAC 2021
Being an expert cultural exchange between the eastern and the western world, Rome is surely an appropriate witness for the latter.
Rome has in the recent past organized important and successful international meetings in Otorhinolaryngology and has gained great popularity also for the organisational point of view.
Rome retains important historical monuments and places that will arise interest in the Colleagues coming from the Far East countries.
The alternation of eastern and western cities, every two years, for the organisation of this “travelling” meeting has chosen the capital of Italy for showing a good representation of the western world.
All roads lead to Rome!
IMPORTANT NOTICE – CONGRESS POSTPONED
Due to the present, unsafe situation and to the uncontrollable prediction about COVID pandemic, I came – along with the Secretariat – to the decision to postpone ORLIAC to 2021, September 26 – 29 in Rome. All the structures will surely be by that time ready to be COVID-safe and vaccination will hopefully be already available and adopted worldwide.
Conflicting with other meetings, either already planned or forcefully postponed, is an issue that is also real without pandemic.
For those of you who have already sent proposals and abstracts, or were involved in panels, we will keep them as priority to be accounted for the next year’ programme.
With best regards,
Prof. Maurzio Barbara
Congress President
