At the joint European Neonatal Societies Congress 2019 in Maastricht


Are you interested to learn about stabilisation of the preterm infant? Or would you like to expand your knowledge on neonatal gastroenterology and nutrition?

The European Board of Neonatology (EBN) offers full day pre-congress courses at the joint European Neonatal Societies Congress (jENS 2019) in Maastricht, the Netherlands, on 16 and 17 September 2019.

For the EBN Pre-Congress Courses leading international experts in their respective fields join forces to provide you with the latest knowledge on research and its application in an interactive environment.

  • When: Monday, 16 September & Tuesday, 17 September (full day)
  • Cost: One-day attendance EUR 150

Registration to the EBN Courses can be made online.

One-page curriculum vitae – your CV should include the following details (in 1 page):

  • Personal details
  • Center of training in Paediatrics and dates
  • Center of training in Neonatology and dates
  • Years of clinical experience in Neonatology
  • Involvement in clinical projects (projects and participation)
  • Involvement in  research projects (projects and participation)
  • Publications (max. 3)


EBN teaching courses are open to any medical professional who supports the aims of the European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR).

Participants of the EBN courses do not need to register for the entire jENS Congress. Please note that registration for the EBN courses alone does not constitute a registration for jENS 2019.

As spaces are limited, course registration works on a ‘first come, first serve basis’. It will close once 50 participants have been reached.

Cancellation Policy


All cancellations concerning the registration fee must be presented in writing to MCA Events SRL (registration@jenscongress.eu)

  • 100% of the total fee will be refunded for cancellations received before March 31st, 2019, less € 50,00 handling fee
  • 50% of the total fee will be refunded for cancellations received before May 31st, 2019
  • After the above-mentioned deadline, no reimbursement can be claimed for cancellation
  • All approved refunds will be processed and issued 90 days after the Congress.



Advance payment must be made in euros, by credit card (preferred) or by bank transfer. Online credit card payments can be made with Visa or MasterCard (American Express and Diners are not accepted).

All best efforts will be made to present the program as close as possible to the printed version presented on the website of the jENS 2019. However, the Conference Organizer (MCA Events srl) reserves the right to alter or cancel, without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables or plans relating directly or indirectly to the conference or exhibition, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The Conference Organizer is not liable for any loss or inconvenience which may be caused as a result of such alterations. Participants (registrants) are advised to consider purchasing their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions. The jENS 2019 does not cover individuals against cancelations of flights, hotels, or theft of their belongings. In the event that the Conference is cancelled by the organizers, or cannot take place for any reason beyond the control of the organizers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the Conference Organizer shall be limited to that refund, and the Conference Organizer shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expenses, whatsoever cause, incurred or arising. The Conference Organizer will hold and process your personal details in its database. Such information is required for the legitimate management of the jENS 2019, which may include the information being available to any organizing/sponsoring company. The Conference Organizer may also use your personal details to provide you with information about other conferences or events being organized. Please advise us to any changes in your personal details, if you would like them to be removed from our database in the future.
