BLOOD PLASMA PROFILE OF TEMPORAL MICRORNA EXPRESSION OF INFLAMMATION IN LIPOPOLYSACCHARIDE SENSITISED PORCINE MODEL OF HYPOXIC ISCHAEMIC ENCEPHALOPATHY

REQUIREMENTS:​

  • ​Must be an ESPR member
  • Must be < 35 years of age..
  • Content of the abstract must represent original work and not presented/ or published previously  (declaration form)
  • Request for consideration must be made on the abstract form at the time of submission
  • The applicant must be the first author  and presenting author of the submitted abstract.
  • Selected finalists to be informed in advance and must confirm their attendance to the Congress.​​

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA WILL BE BASED ON:

  • Scientific content
  • Structure of the abstract
  • Presentation
  • Ability to defend the paper/results during question time from the audience

Prize:

  • First Prize: EUR 600 Award or complimentary registration fee to PAS Meeting and travel; complimentary registration and free travel the next ESPR Annual Meeting (EAPS 2018).
  • Second Prize: EUR 400 Award, complimentary registration the next ESPR Annual Meeting (EAPS 2018).

ESPR BENGT ROBERTSON AWARD FOR RESEARCH CONCERNING THE NEONATAL LUNG

Bengt Robertson Awardee for 2017 is:

Aggeliki Vervenioti, Greece

Neonatal Pulmonology, Neonatal Respiratory Support, Resuscitation

Requirements:

  • Abstracts must be on research concerning the neonatal lung.
  • Request for consideration must be indicated in the abstract submission form at the time of submission.
  • Content of the abstract must be original work.
  • Presenting authors must be < 35 years of age.
  • Name of an ESPR member supporting the application is required.
  • The name of the presenting author MUST match the name of the applicant.
  • Requests that do not conform to above terms will automatically be declined.

Judgement criteria will be based on:

  1. Scientific content
  2. Structure of the abstract
  3. Presentation
  4. Ability to defend the paper/results during question time from the audience

Prize:

EUR 3,000.

Complimentary registration to the next ESPR Annual Meeting

Accommodation and travel expenses for the next ESPR Annual Meeting will be covered.
