The Scientific Committee warmly invites clinicians, researchers, and scientists specializing in pediatric and neonatal critical care, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and vital monitoring to submit their original research abstracts. Share your latest clinical findings, innovations, and scientific advancements with an international audience at VOLT 2026.

The Scientific Committee invites all those providing Intrapartum Care, including scientists, who are interested in sharing their work at the meeting to submit their work in abstract form.
Changes in abstracts cannot be made after submission.
Please verify that each field in the abstract form has been completed and follow the instructions given below.
Abstracts accepted will be presented as oral presentation or in poster format.
- The title of the abstract must be entered in CAPITAL LETTERS.
- The text must fit entirely in the rectangular space allotted on this form.
- The lines must be single-spaced. All fields must be entered.
- Personal data refers to those of the First Author.
- The name of the First Author must be repeated in the “Authors” field.
- All authors’ names and first author’s name must be entered as follows: Surname. Name initials (e.g. Smith J).
- In the case of more than one affiliation please indicate in the proper field, following the order of the authors: (e.g. Authors: Smith J1, Lewis F2, Burton A3. Affiliation: 1-Saint Paul Hospital, 2-Cambridge University, 3-Paris University).
For Original Research the abstract should be structured and include the following sections:
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion(s)
- Words limit: 400
For Case reports the abstract should include the following sections:
- Introduction
- Case description
- Conclusion(s)
- Words limit: 400
Please note that, if you do not receive an email confirming your submission after filling in the Abstract form, it means that your abstract has not been submitted correctly.

The decision on abstract acceptance will be made by the Scientific Committee.
After acceptance of the abstract, at least one of the authors must be registered to the conference, or otherwise the contribution will be declined.
In all cases, the Scientific Committee will inform you whether it has been accepted for oral presentation, poster presentation, or whether it has not been accepted for presentation.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the meeting.
- The person submitting the abstract through the online platform will be designated as the Main Contact for all abstract(s) submitted under their account. All communications from the Organizing Secretariat, including submission confirmation and abstract acceptance results, will be sent to this person.
- There is no limit to the number of abstracts that may be submitted.
- Following abstract acceptance, each Abstract Presenter may present a maximum of two (2) abstracts during the Congress, regardless of presentation type (oral or poster).
- If more than two abstracts are accepted, a different presenter must be assigned for each additional abstract.
- Registration is required to confirm inclusion of the abstract in the scientific programme.
- Presenters must complete registration by the deadline communicated by the Organizing Secretariat.
